What we collect

We collect information you provide, including your email address, an optional name or nickname, tasks, text, photos, voice recordings, energy and support preferences, and feedback.

We also receive information needed to run the app, such as device and app details, subscription status, notification preferences, and technical records about errors and performance. Some information is connected to your account.

If you add something to your calendar, we ask for permission to create the event. We don’t read your existing calendar events.

How we use and share information

We use your information to provide the app’s features, save tasks and sessions, manage subscriptions and notifications, answer feedback, and keep the app working safely.

AI providers process the content needed to generate task steps, focus-session guidance, and spoken audio. This may include text, photos, recordings, and transcripts.

We don’t keep original photos or recordings as part of your saved account data. Temporary copies may exist during processing. AI providers may also keep some requests for security or abuse checks, depending on the service and its settings.

If you send feedback, you can choose to attach the task you were working on. That content becomes part of your feedback.

Other companies help with hosting, sign-in, analytics, notifications, crash reporting, and subscriptions. Companies handling information for us must protect it in line with this policy.

We don’t sell your information or share it for advertising. We don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

This is off unless you turn it on. It helps us understand which features people use and where things go wrong.

Separately, our notification service receives account and device information, notification preferences, and some app activity to manage messages and notifications. The usage-analytics setting does not control that processing.

If you turn it on, analytics may include screen recordings of how you use the app, connected to your account. All text and images are hidden, but parts of the screen may remain visible.

Privacy-safe examples

This is off unless you turn it on. You can choose to share more general versions of what you tell the app. We remove personal details before saving them. We don’t add your original input to this collection.

These examples remain connected to your account and may be kept for up to 12 months. They help us improve To Do-ish and may help us train AI models in the future. We aren’t training a model now.

Age

To Do-ish is for people 13 and over. Where required, we use an age range provided by Apple to check whether someone can use the app and to help keep generated content appropriate. We don’t receive a birthdate or exact age.

If Apple tells us someone is under 13, we block access. If you believe someone under 13 has an account, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.
